I’ve been fascinated lately by the Aviation-Safety.net !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! They tweet news about aviation incidents around the world, along with incident reports and “this day in history” pieces. There’s been a number of interesting incidents I wouldn’t have heard about otherwise, and reading the investigation reports are fascinating.

Some of the recent interesting tweets:

Aviation-Safety.net is a great resource, and certainly easier to navigate than the national accident investigation agency websites. Other good similar resources are Kathryn’s Report and the Curt Lewis Newsletter ( signup and today’s edition )

I’d like to think that truck in the lead image pulled up and was all, “don’t worry guys, I’ve got some tow cables in the bed.”
